Microsoft FrontPage Installation Instructions

Microsoft FrontPage makes it easy to produce professional quality web sites. With powerful tools such as built in image mapping, spell checking and WebBot components, and a familiar interface (like other Microsoft Office 97 applications), you can get great results fast. ZRAMP is proud to support FrontPage extensions in their entirety.

In order to use Microsoft FrontPage, you will need to do two things.

• First, you must purchase the FrontPage Client from your local software company

• Second, you need to install the server extensions onto your virtual server. In order to do this, you need to connect to your virtual server through a telnet session. Once you are connected you may use these commands:

fp98install

The fp98install command installs the Microsoft FrontPage extensions onto your virtual server. Simply type fpinstall at a telnet command prompt and answer a few simple questions and you will be ready to go!

fpuninstall

The fpuninstall command uninstalls the Microsoft FrontPage extensions from your server. Simply type fpuninstall at a telnet command prompt and the Microsoft FrontPage extensions will be removed from your server.
